  • 2 sheets of ready roll puff pastry (Vegan & gluten-free)
  • 6 tablespoons of Vegan Nutella
  • 2 medium-sized bananas
  • 3 tablespoons of dairy-free milk (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons of caster/granulated sugar
  • 1 packet of dairy-free white chocolate buttons
  • 2 tablespoons of icing sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until about 1/8 inch thick and cut into rectangles (4×6 inches).
  3. Spread 1 tablespoon of Vegan Nutella on one half of each rectangle and layer with banana slices.
  4. Fold the other half over to seal, using a fork to press down along the edges.
  5. Cut thin strips from leftover pastry and place them across each pie for a mummy effect.
  6. Brush with dairy-free milk and sprinkle with sugar before baking for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before decorating with melted dairy-free white chocolate as eyes and dusting with icing sugar.
