  • 2 ripe mangos (peeled & diced)
  • 23 habanero peppers (stemmed & seeded)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • ½ cup water (adjust as needed for consistency)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Sauté garlic and habaneros in olive oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  2. Blend sautéed mixture with diced mangos, honey or maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce or coconut aminos, and water until smooth.
  3. Return blended sauce to the saucepan and simmer on medium-low heat for about 10–12 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity as desired.
  5. Cool before transferring to jars and store in the refrigerator.
