  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 tsp minced ginger
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 12 oz linguine noodles
  • Green onions and toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with ginger and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. While beef cooks, boil salted water in a pot and cook the linguine noodles until al dente.
  3. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and hoisin sauce. Add to the skillet with the browned beef.
  4. Sauté together for about 3 minutes to combine flavors.
  5. Drain the noodles and add them to the skillet. Stir well and cook for another couple of minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve topped with diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
