  • 500g chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions; set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until lightly golden brown (5–7 minutes). Remove from wok.
  3. In the same wok, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add broccoli and mushrooms; stir-fry until tender but crisp (3–4 minutes).
  4. Mix in soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and chili flakes (if using). Return chicken to the wok with a cornstarch slurry; cook for another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot over steamed rice.
