Ingredients
Boneless chicken breast, sliced thin
Red bell pepper, sliced
Green bell pepper, sliced
Garlic, minced
Soy sauce
Cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water)
Sesame oil or olive oil
Green onions, chopped
Steamed white rice
Black pepper
Instructions
Start by slicing the boneless chicken breast thinly.
Next, slice both red and green bell peppers into strips.
Mince the garlic and chop the green onions.
Heat your wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add sesame oil or olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
Add the sliced chicken breast to the hot oil and stir-fry until lightly browned and nearly cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.
Once the chicken is nearly done, add the sliced red and green bell peppers along with minced garlic and continue to stir-fry until the peppers are just tender, about another 2-3 minutes.
Pour in soy sauce and add black pepper to taste, mixing everything thoroughly.
Slowly pour in the cornstarch slurry while stirring continuously to thicken the sauce.
Toss in chopped green onions at the end and mix well before removing from heat.
