  • 1 large egg yolk (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin (blotted)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  2. Blot excess moisture from the canned pumpkin using paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, spice blend, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, mix cooled brown butter with brown sugar and maple syrup. Add egg yolk and blotted pumpkin along with vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture until just combined. Chill the dough for at least 8 hours.
