1 lb. ground beef (80/20)
6 slices turkey bacon (chopped)
1 cup beef broth
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.
Stir in the cooked turkey bacon, then add beef broth and seasonings (salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne if desired).
Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened to your liking.
