  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 1 cup milk (more if needed)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 810 medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Boil peeled and cubed potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Pat salmon dry, coat with olive oil and Cajun seasoning, then pan-sear over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through.
  3. For the gravy, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour until golden, slowly add milk while stirring until thickened; season with crushed red pepper flakes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet, briefly sauté broccoli florets then add shrimp with paprika; cook until shrimp are pink.
  5. Serve salmon alongside garlic mashed potatoes topped with pepper gravy and sautéed shrimp-broccoli.
