  • 1 cup apple cider
  • ½ cup apple sauce (preferably cinnamon)
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For the topping: 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, apple cider, apple sauce, and eggs; beat until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool for at least 20 minutes on a wire rack before removing it from the pan.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  7. Once cooled, brush melted butter over the cake and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top.
